Pursuant to Securities and Exchange Commission rules, the following Privacy Policy explains the type of information that we collect from you and how that information is handled.  We are committed to keeping your personal information secure and private.


We collect nonpublic personal information that we receive from you on applications, other forms, telephone calls, or e-mail.  Examples would include your name, address, social security number, date of birth, and personal financial information.

We collect information on your transactions with Fairfield Financial and non-affiliated third parties such as account balances and account activity.

We collect other information that we may receive from sources such as your bank, credit card companies, mortgage companies and other third parties.

Your personal information will be maintained during the time of the client relationship,
and for the time that federal and state securities law mandates such records.


We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our clients or former clients to any non-affiliated third parties, except with prior consent or instruction, or as permitted by law.  By law, we may share information with non-affiliated third parties to service your accounts.  An example of such a party would be Charles Schwab.

Since we only share information with non-affiliated third parties in order to service a client’s account and carry on activities in the ordinary course of business, we are not required to provide an opt-out notice.


We restrict access to any nonpublic personal information about you to authorized employees, who are experienced in the proper handling of client information.


We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
